Ohio law requires every school district to file a financial forecast with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce twice each year, by August 31 and February 28. The forecast presents the district's budget for the current fiscal year along with projected revenues, expenditures and cash balances for the next three years, and explains the assumptions behind those projections. It's one of the most important tools we use to plan responsibly and keep our community informed about the district's financial health.
